Marriott Communications and CgPR Partner to Lead PR for the North East International Film Festival 2025

Marriott Communications is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Chrissie Pringle, Founder of CgPR, as we join forces to lead the PR and Media Strategy for the North East International Film Festival (NEIFF) 2025, taking place 20–26 October across the North East region.

Together, we’re bringing a powerful blend of strategic communications expertise, media relations experience, and deep regional and national networks to shine a spotlight on one of the North East’s most exciting cultural events.

With a shared passion for storytelling, arts, and purpose-driven communications, this partnership will supercharge festival visibility through an integrated campaign spanning press and broadcast outreach, influencer partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and social media activations.

NEIFF has become a standout on the UK festival calendar, blending red-carpet premieres, groundbreaking independent cinema, and a proud North East identity. By combining our strengths, Marriott Communications and CgPR aim to amplify the festival’s reach - locally, nationally and internationally.

“Chrissie’s extensive experience and success in the film industry is second to none. Partnering with her for NEIFF feels like a natural fit - we’re both passionate about putting the North East on the map for culture and creativity,” said Samuel Marriott-Dowding, CEO of Marriott Communications.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Samuel on such a dynamic festival,” added Chrissie Pringle, Founder of CgPR. “NEIFF has a powerful story to tell, and together we’ll ensure it gets the spotlight it deserves.”

Stay tuned for campaign updates as we roll out the festival’s PR and Media activity in the lead-up to the premiere event on October 20th.
