MC CEO Joins Football Royalty at Major Newcastle Event

Marriott Communications Founder and CEO, Samuel Marriott-Dowding, attended one of Newcastle’s most talked-about sporting events this week, as football legends and international sporting figures gathered in the city for the celebration of Ronaldinho & Friends legends fixture.

Held at The Gainford Groups’s ABOVE, the event brought together a number of iconic football names - including Brazilian World Cup winner Roberto Carlos - alongside business leaders, media figures and guests from across the region following the fixture at the Stadium of Light.

The evening highlighted Newcastle’s growing reputation as a destination capable of hosting internationally recognised sporting, entertainment and cultural events, reinforcing the city’s increasing prominence on the global stage.
