Inclusion Scotland is a national Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) working to ensure disabled people’s voices are heard at every level of Scottish society.
Marriott Communications was appointed to support the strategic communications and delivery of Inclusion Scotland’s 2024 Impact Report and launch event - ‘Our Impact: Reflecting, Celebrating and Looking Ahead.’
Our role included content development for the report, on-the-day hosting and facilitation, and overall event coordination - ensuring the celebration reflected the organisation’s values, voice, and vision for the future.
The Brief
Inclusion Scotland is a national Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) working to ensure that disabled people are fully included in all aspects of Scottish life.
Inclusion Scotland set out to mark the launch of their 2024 Impact Report with a celebration that reflected the organisation’s mission, milestones, and momentum.
Titled “Our Impact: Reflecting, Celebrating and Looking Ahead,” the event brought together Members, Partners, and Stakeholders at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh. The goal - to reflect on Inclusion Scotland’s achievements, celebrate community, and look ahead to the organisation’s future.
Marriott Communications were proud to support the delivery of the event - working closely with the Inclusion Scotland team to co-host and manage logistics on the day, while also contributing to the development of the 2024 Impact Report itself.
From helping shape the narrative behind the report to facilitating smooth coordination on the day, this partnership marked a chance to celebrating community, legacy, and lived experience.

By ensuring a smooth delivery, clear messaging, and a strong media narrative, Marriott Communications helped elevate the organisation’s credibility and visibility at a key moment in its strategic journey.
The result was a professional, accessible, and emotionally resonant event that not only honoured the past, but confidently looked ahead - cementing Inclusion Scotland’s place at the heart of the national conversation on disability rights and inclusion.
The launch of Inclusion Scotland’s 2024 Impact Report was a statement of identity, purpose, and progress.
With support from Marriott Communications, the event created a space for genuine reflection, recognition, and reconnection. Attendees - including Members, MSPs, policy partners, and third sector leaders - were able to see, hear, and celebrate the tangible impact Inclusion Scotland has made over the past year, through stories rooted in lived experience and systems-level change.
